United Communities Against Poverty's mission is to provide solutions to alleviate poverty in Prince George's County's diverse communities. We aim to eliminate poverty and maximize self-sufficiency. Through our diverse programs and services, we provide affordable housing, senior services, weatherization, youth services, emergency shelter, food pantry, eviction prevention, first month rental assistance, mortgage modifications and diaper bank.
Breaking the cycle of poverty starts with individual community stakeholders that come together to create or stabilize the foundation for future generations to come. It is through modeling good stewardship that we pass this legacy of service.

Through six program service divisions including the Emergency Homeless Shelter, Seniors Program, Permanent Supportive Housing Program, HUD Certified Housing Counseling Program, Weatherization, Neighborhood Development, and Emergency Food Pantry.
