UCAP is a designated Community Action Agency (CAA), located in Prince George's County that has fought the "War On Poverty" for 60 years. Led by CEO Rasheeda Jamison, we're dedicated to improving lives affected by poverty, homelessness, unemployment, crime, and limited health services. Join us in fostering self-sufficiency and economic stability.
United Communities Against Poverty's mission is to provide solutions to alleviate poverty in Prince George's County's diverse communities. We aim to eliminate poverty and maximize self-sufficiency. Through our diverse programs and services, we provide affordable housing, senior services, weatherization, youth services, emergency shelter, food pantry, eviction prevention, first month rental assistance, mortgage modifications and diaper bank.
